Traditional and Contemporary Oak Staircases

Styled with beauty and elegance, a staircase often creates an important first impression with any visitor. At Browns we have over 25 years’ experience in manufacturing bespoke staircases made by our team of British craftsmen.

We primarily use Solid European Oak however other materials can be used such as softwood and Idigbo, all materials achieving the desired quality in your home.

Treads can be made in solid timber to be oiled and left exposed or supplied in boarding for a carpet finish.  We offer a variety of solid timber spindles and newel designs along with the option for glass to be incorporated for a more modern look.

No two staircases are the same and our on-site surveys are important so that we can identify the individual needs of the client. Alternatively, quotations can be achieved from drawings, plans or photographs. We also ensure that Health & Safety Regulations are met in every staircase we manufacture.

Our stairs are supplied in kit form to be assembled on site. We are also able to supply tongue and grooved, bead moulded boarding for the underside, cupboard doors and panelling, again offering the complete solution to your needs.
