External Door Frames and Pre-Hanging
We manufacture all of our door frames to order, so any size or timber section can be achieved. Thresholds can be solid or suitable for mobility access (Part M Compliant).
As standard our doors come loose from the frames, to be hung on site. We offer a pre-hanging service, this involves us hanging your door into the frame on butt hinges and cutting in the locks and fitting the handles.
The door is then taken out of the frame and the handles removed for ease of delivery. Please note, there may be minor adjustments required on site, however the bulk of the work has been done as part of this service.
Five-Lever Locking and Handles
Our range of handles to suit the 5 Lever Mortise Lock System. These items can be supplied loose to be fitted on site or pre-hung here in our workshops prior to dispatch. Letter Box’s and door knocker can also be supplied and fitted.
Three-Point Espagnolette Locking and Handles
Our range of handles to suit the 3 Point Espagnolette and Euro Lock System. These items can be supplied loose to be fitted on site or pre-hung here in our workshops prior to dispatch. Letter Box’s and door knocker can also be supplied and fitted. Our door sets are Part Q compliant with Building Regulations.
Osmo Natural Timber Treatments
To achieve a natural timber finish we use and are stockists of Osmo Oil. All of our joinery items leave the workshop with a minimum basecoat of Osmo UV Protection clear finish 420. A minimum of two further coats is required prior to or straight after installation. We are able to fully factory finish items for immediate installation. Glass Options
Each project we undertake is bespoke, therefore we can offer energy efficient double glazed or triple glazed units in a a wide range of options to suit any special requirements you may have when considering the glazing for you windows. For restoration projects requiring new timber windows and doors we can offer single glazing in a variety of forms including double glazed leaded glass.
- Toughened or Laminated Safety Glass: Toughening process increases strength and safety.
- Patterned and Textured Glass: A range of Pilkington patterned or textured glass for added privacy and decoration.
- Acoustic Glass: Increases already high level of sound insulation using specialist laminates and thicker glass.
- Solar Control Glass: Allows the heat gain from the sun to be matched to the requirements of a building.
Timber and Paint Colour Options
Below is a selection of the timbers we use in the manufacture our joinery. For further information on the different species please see the technical information at the bottom of the page. We are able to offer OSMO natural wood treatment and fully factory finished painted windows in a range of colours, for example from the RAL colour range or Farrow and Ball. Fully factory finished windows and doors come with the glazing fitted for minimal site work, carried out in controlled factory conditions by our skilled craftsmen.
