Browns range of raised and fielded panel doors are suitable for Regency, Georgian, Edwardian and Victorian period properties.
Available in Solid Oak or painted finish Accoya timber in a range of beautiful colours and stains.
If top fan lights or glazed panes in the doors are required we can supply Toughened Double Glazed Safety Glass with various patterns available.
We are stockists of Croft British Brass Ironmongery and Anvil Ironmongery who manufacture a broad range of architectural products. To maximise home security, particularly in London, Oxford, Cheltenham, Bristol and Bath we fit Banham Locks.
The construction method is that of true craftsmanship where the stiles and rails of the door are mortised, tennoned and wedged together to form a frame as the basic foundation. This frame provides a stable network of timbers skilfully machined to house raised and fielded panels.
New solid oak door frames are also available, most commonly 95 x 70mm in section, rebated to house the door with modern weather seals. Thresholds can be solid or suitable for mobility access (Part M Compliant)If you have the luxury of a wide opening, glazed or solid oak side panels can be added to your door frame to create more light.
Doors come finished in a base coat of Osmo UV Protection Oil, requiring two further coats or our full factory finished in a choice RAL colours.
